Guiding

If you are visiting the area or simply want to expand your knowledge of the local riding then guided rides can be a brilliant experience.

Having a qualified and experienced guide to take care of route planning, food/drink stops, navigation and other details of the ride helps to make your riding much more worry free. We have a lot of local riding experience so can also help with preparation questions such as; what to bring for riding in the mountains, how to set up your bike for this style of riding and how to prepare for riding in this environment.

We offer a Range of guiding and coaching options. For more information or enquiries on custom sessions or accommodation please get in touch via email, phone or Instagram message.

Helvellyn Weekend

A mix of coaching and guiding elements creating a weekend of progression and epic trails. Perfect for intermediate to advanced mountain bikers, this weekend will involve coaching on the skill areas required to ride technical, rocky trails before applying those skills on some awesome mountain passes and classic Lakeland tech!
Riding will be in open mountain terrain with hike-a-bike sections so it will be necessary to start with a good level of skill and fitness to get the most out of the weekend.

The first day will be a mix of guided riding and coaching elements. It will be a shorter ride where we will session several sections of trail to practice some of the key techniques for riding in big mountain terrain.

The second day will be a full mountain day on Helvellyn, giving a chance to apply the skills from the previous day and experience some of the best big mountain riding in the country!
If the weather makes it impossible to ride the intended route then a modified or alternative route will be used.

You can check out the available dates and book on at the bottom of the page!
