Coaching
Coaching can help you to ride further and faster, ride more trails, use your fitness more efficiently and overcome mental blocks to progress your riding to a new level.
We run Custom Coaching sessions, weekly group sessions every Wednesday morning and evening and “Standard” sessions that run on a specific date and focus on a particular area of riding.
See below for details of each type of coaching:
Weekly Sessions:
Weekly group coaching designed to be as affordable and accessible as possible.
Our Weekly sessions run at the Pump Track in Fitz Park in Keswick every Wednesday morning 07:00-08:00 and every Wednesday evening 18:30-19:30.
Each session is an hour long, we cover a different skill every week and set skills to practice between sessions, so that you can continue to improve and learn in your normal riding.
Come along to your first session for free and then you can either pay as you go for £8 per session or take advantage of our monthly subscription for just £24 (£6 per session).

Custom Coaching:
All custom coaching sessions and plans are tailored around you and your goals. Working on skills in a methodical and consistent way ensures that you will have an understanding of the building blocks that underpin each new technique. We will also help you to understand your own riding better so that you can start to analyse your own performance.
Custom coaching sessions can be focussed on any area that you would like to improve, and we offer this for all disciplines of Mountain Biking and Gravel riding.
After the session we will provide written skill breakdowns, session feedback and follow up support so you can make sure that your riding continues to improve between sessions. We can also help you with looking into your bike and equipment setup to make sure your gear is optimised for you and is helping with your riding progression.
Pushing your riding can often seem intimidating. But by putting you in a friendly and non-pressured environment and building up skills in a methodical way, we can help you to unlock your riding potential and ultimately have even more fun on the bike.

Natural Trails skills day:
A course for intermediate to advanced level riders, covering higher level skills that will help you maintain control and flow through technical, steep, or rocky terrain that could otherwise choke your speed on natural trails.
We will look in depth at core skills like body positioning and line choice and how these are applied to natural trails, and will also cover specific skills to deal with some of the more challenging features that you will come across such as rock drops and steps.
Come along and learn to ride challenging natural trail features with more confidence, control and speed.
The session will cost £40

Gravel coaching day:
Fundamental skills to help your gravel riding. Ride faster, with more confidence and over rough, technical ground.
The gravel coaching day will cover many key skill areas that will help with all areas of gravel riding. A good level of skill on the bike will be useful for riding over terrain that would previously have caused you to ride much slower or get off entirely. It will also help you to ride faster and more efficiently, so you will be able to cover ground using less energy.
This is especially important for UK gravel riding and racing, where the terrain is often much more varied than elsewhere, and can even include sections of singletrack and trails that verge on cross-country mountain biking terrain.
The day will start from Threlkeld, we will ride out on gravel trails that will become gradually more technical through the day, with several different coaching elements brought in through the ride.
Some of the key areas that will be covered include: Body position, Braking, Absorbing, Line choice, Cadence and Cornering
Towards the end of the session we will stop at a cafe where we will recap the day and any elements that anyone wants to discuss. We will also talk about how to progress and build on the skills covered through the day.
